I wish I could give 2 ratings -- one for what I thought I was going to get and one for what actually came. The rating is for the paper as compared with what I needed. The main issue is how acute your sight is. The paper itself is good quality. This is about what comes printed on the paper. The short version is that my sight isn't good enough to use this paper. What I had in mind was something like this that included brackets and clefs: Manuscript Paper: 8 Stave Specifics and measurements are below for those who like details.As one with poor eyesight I look for extra space between lines of the staff. Someone with acute sight or even good distance vision may find this paper useful, though I think the staff lines are thicker than they ought to be given the space between staff lines. (That is the black line- white space ratio is off.) Notes on lines may have to be larger to be legible.The description says 'about the size of A4 paper' -- A4 measures 210 × 297 millimeters or 8.27 × 11.69 inches -- in other words longer than standard letter size (8.5 x 11 inches) -- This lead me to believe that the spaces between lines would be larger than they are. Also, even at the size of paper that arrived (8 x 10 inches), there would have been room to make more space between lines -- and perhaps make the lines a bit thinner.The margins are very large (at least an inch on the sides, more at top and bottom), so even though the page is very slightly narrower than standard letter size, and a half inch shorter, narrowing the margins by .25-.5 inch would have provided space to increase distance between lines on the staff. OR -- make it 4 bracketed sets instead of 5, and there would be much more space available.
